Introduction

Welcome to the October 2021 update from the CIA Committee at McCormick Road Baptist Church. As a prominent community and society organization focused on faith and beliefs, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on our community through various initiatives and activities.

Get Involved

Upcoming Events

Community Thanksgiving Dinner

As part of our commitment to fostering unity and gratitude within the community, we are thrilled to announce our annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Join us on November 25th, 2021, at McCormick Road Baptist Church for a festive evening of food, fellowship, and gratitude. All are welcome to attend this free event, and we encourage everyone to bring their family and friends.

Winter Clothing Drive

As the winter season approaches, we understand the importance of staying warm and comfortable. In collaboration with local shelters and organizations, our CIA Committee will be hosting a winter clothing drive throughout the month of October. Donations of gently used coats, hats, gloves, and blankets are highly appreciated and will be distributed to those in need within our community. Together, we can make a difference.

Community Programs

Food Bank Assistance

Our commitment to alleviating hunger within our community remains strong. As part of our ongoing efforts, the CIA Committee coordinates regular food bank assistance programs. We collaborate with local food banks to organize distribution events where individuals and families in need can receive essential food items. By supporting this initiative, you directly contribute to fighting hunger and making a positive impact on the lives of many.

Education Scholarships

Investing in education is crucial to empower individuals and create a brighter future. The CIA Committee is proud to offer scholarships to deserving students within our community.
