Dear friends,
I am thrilled to connect with you through this weekly update as the summer intern at McCormick Road Baptist Church. Over the past week, our faith community has witnessed an outpouring of love and grace.
Last Sunday, we gathered together to delve into the scriptures and explore the theme of forgiveness. It was a powerful and transformative discussion, reminding us of the importance of extending forgiveness to others as God has forgiven us. The shared moments of reflection and prayer in our sanctuary filled the space with a sense of peace and understanding.
Looking ahead, I wanted to highlight an upcoming event that is dear to our hearts. On Saturday, we will be hosting a community outreach program in partnership with local organizations. This event presents a unique opportunity for our congregation to come together and serve our community, sharing God's love through tangible acts of kindness.
